As a Locum MD in Radiation Oncology, you will be responsible for providing high‑quality radiation treatment to patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. This role is vital in ensuring our patients receive the best care and support throughout their treatment journey.

• Conduct patient consultations and assessments to determine radiation therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Administer radiation treatments while monitoring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with oncologists and other specialists in patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options
• Stay updated on advancements in radiation oncology and treatment techniques
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology preferred
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Virginia
• Prior experience in radiation oncology as a resident or practicing physician
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and safety
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced work environment

Schedule:

8‑hour day shifts, 4 days per week

Must be board-certified
