St. John Neumann Catholic Preschool seeks a part-time Assistant Teacher for our half day Monday-Friday Pre‑k class. Applicant must love sharing their Catholic faith with students. Applicant must love working with young children and have several years of experience. Assistant teachers must have a minimum of a High School Diploma - Early Childhood Education college coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting Lead teacher in implementing creative activities based on curriculum;
• Working with young children to promote social-emotional development as well as working on learning objectives;
• Maintaining a neat, clean and safe classroom environment;
• Attending trainings, meetings and other Preschool events.

Part time hours are Monday - Friday 9 am to 12:30 pm.

Paraprofessional / IA

• At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
