Control Room Operator

Constellation Energy seeks a Control Room Operator to oversee safe, reliable operation of energy generation and distribution systems. In this on-site role, you will monitor SCADA and control systems, respond to alarms, adjust equipment settings, and follow strict procedures to ensure compliance and system reliability. You'll log performance data, coordinate with field technicians, and support emergency and incident response. Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor SCADA, HMI, and control systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.
• Respond promptly to alarms, abnormal conditions, and system events, taking corrective actions per procedures.
• Adjust equipment settings and control parameters to optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Log operating data, trends, and events, preparing routine shift and incident reports.
• Coordinate with field technicians, maintenance, and engineering during inspections and repairs.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance procedures and protocols.
• Support emergency and incident response, including system shutdown/startup as required.
• Perform routine checks of control panels, instrumentation, and communications systems.
• Assist in implementing operating procedures, work instructions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in training and drills to maintain qualifications and operational readiness.
