System Engineer; LIF-ACDS

Job Description: seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to provide systems administration and design for the Sponsor’s Authorization and Digital Policy Management services. As an Infrastructure Engineer on this program, you will not only maintain environments for applications created by our software development teams, you will help design and deploy innovations such as container solutions and serverless architectures.

List daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities.

• Support the development of enterprise software solutions within AWS.
• Design and deliver innovative solutions for administering AWS infrastructure (e.g., task automation, self-healing systems)

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Typically requires BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience deploying and administering Amazon Web Services, including work with AWS console and CLI (command line interface)
• Experience providing systems administration to Linux-based applications, including the creation of Bash scripts
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, including Cloud Formation
• Experience with task automation using Jenkins and Rundeck
• Experience with system log aggregation and analysis using Elasticsearch and Kibana
• Experience creating container solutions using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience addressing security controls as part of the security accreditation process
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments
• In-depth experience with AWS Console, CLI, and manage services utilizing cloud services to build infrastructure as a code in an automated fashion

• At least 4 years of experience with C2S
• Experience with IdAM / ICAM delivery systems, Authentication, Authorization, Entitlement Management and Digital Policy Management
• Experience with server‑less architectures and implementations, such as AWS Lambda and Python scripting
• AWS certifications
