Network Lead

Job Summary (Network Lead – Remote, PST/MST Hours)

• Lead and drive network improvement initiatives for 250+ sites and 300+ firewalls (Fortinet Fortigate).
• Design, evaluate, and improve large-scale network systems and processes.
• Provide senior-level expertise in Fortinet firewall solutions, Azure cloud-based firewalls, and Fortinet switches.
• Assess current network architecture and implement best practices, tools, and process enhancements.
• Collaborate with and mentor existing senior technical staff, offering system-wide perspective and leadership.
• Ensure implementation of network security and operations best practices, particularly in Azure environment.
• Oversee system and network administration, change management, and reporting/analysis activities.
• Produce comprehensive business and technical documentation.
• Play a key role in team leadership, training, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Work remotely from PST or MST time zone to align with team operations.

• 10+ years in large network system design, evaluation, and improvement.
• 5+ years in enterprise network operations (system/network admin, reporting, change management).
• Expert knowledge of Fortinet firewalls and switches.
• Advanced understanding of Azure security and firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of Windows networks, network services, routers, and switches.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and producing technical documentation.
• Must able to work remotely (PST/MST).
