The Infrastructure GBU's Renewables & Clean Power business line is pursuing future combined cycle power plant projects. This role is for working in a central team on proposals and providing technical oversight. Upon successful award, the candidate will mobilize to the project site.

In this position, you will lead the Commissioning and Startup (CSU) activities for proposals and projects that requires technical skill and expertise in combined cycle power generation. You will provide leadership, oversight, guidance, training, and mentoring to the CSU team on key project procedures and CSU direction to ensure successful project execution and delivery.

• Lead CSU activities for a project, or for discipline/project/proposal estimating or staff planning activities that requires a high degree of technical skill and experience.
• Provide support to determine the right level of resources are maintained for optimum delivery.
• Participate in project reviews and workshops to ensure that all CSU activities are included from a procedural, cost, time, and risk management perspective.
• Support development and maintenance of the project CSU schedule.
• Oversee the development, maintenance, and adoption of fit‑for‑purpose project CSU risk registers for the project.
• Lead the preparation of operations manuals.
• Coordinate with project management, the startup related engineering, construction, and client activities as an office assignment or during startup, operations, maintenance, or testing at the jobsite.
• Provide input to project management, engineering, and construction to ensure startup requirements are incorporated into project activities, including review of project designs and construction to ensure plant operability and operating personnel safety.
• Support project/program organizational and administrative activities.
• Identify and provide innovative solutions to CSU problems.
• Review contract drafts for adequacy of cost and scope definition and CSU requirements.
• Provide oversight, training, mentoring, and ensures capability of CSU personnel towards the attainment of project objectives.
• Provide support for integrating the CSU process with other key project procedures (e.g., Engineering, Construction, Change Management, Forecasting, Cost, Trends, and Claims).

Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 13‑15 years of relevant experience or 17‑19 years of relevant work experience.

• Previous involvement in delivering combined cycle power projects.
• Knowledge and experience with commissioning behind the meter power generation is preferred.
• Integration of power facilities in a data center environment is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, motivating and supporting others.
• Demonstrated understanding of CSU core processes and procedures.
• Technical and practical comprehension of engineering, procurement, and construction functions and general business techniques.
• Awareness of commercial terms and conditions.
• Excellent skill in oral and written communication with demonstrated skill to present CSU information to management and client.
• Experience in leading a team of diverse backgrounds towards a single project outcome.
