DSP Engineer Security Clearance

Responsibilities

Communications systems, associated algorithms, and their design, including an understanding of RF filters, signal modulation/demodulation, channel equalization/channel estimation, channel coding (FEC), RF signal acquisition and recovery, RF frequency control (AFC), and RF gain control (AGC). Mixed signal requirements including quantization and algorithm fixed-point implementations. MATLAB, Python, or X-MIDAS tools used for algorithm design/validation and test vector generation. Vivado design and simulation tools for FPGA architecture design and HDL implementation of signal processing algorithms.

• 5+ years of experience designing FPGA solutions.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar field; M.S. preferred.
• Embedded software development and interfacing with FPGAs in tightly coupled processor configurations (e.g., Zynq MPSoCs/RFSoCs).
• Hardware peripheral programming and control for both digital and analog devices.
• FPGA build scripts using TCL/Make within virtualized environments such as Docker.
