Hydraulic Engineer

Here's what you'll be doing:

* Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic studies, including the analysis of data and preparation of reports

* Develop and implement water resource management plans, floodplain management plans, and stormwater management plans

* Design and oversee the construction of water management infrastructure projects, including stormwater management systems, floodplain mapping, and floodplain modeling

* Perform quality control and quality assurance checks on project deliverables

* Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, clients, and stakeholders

* Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and regulations related to water management

* Prepare project cost estimates, schedules, and proposals

* Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering.

* 10+ years of intensive design experience.

* Project management and team leading experience is a bonus.

* Professional Engineer (PE) license.

* Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.

* Expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing techniques.

* Knowledge of climate change impacts water resources.

* Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles and methodologies.

* Experience with computer modeling and simulation software, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, PCSWMM, XPSWMM, and/or Info Works ICM and ArcGIS.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.

* Analytical and technical problem-solving skills.

* Self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, top-notch organizational skills, and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
