Role Summary
Senior Civil and Structural Engineer
Key RoleManages the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of physical infrastructures, and ensures compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies.
BasicQualifications
- 8+ years of experience with industrial or facility reverse engineering and vulnerability assessment or analysis
- Experience with engineering research, capability or limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis or characterizations, and facility and vulnerability assessments
- Experience in project management
- Knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), NFPA, ASCE, and civil and environmental systems industry standards
- Knowledge of underground facilities or hard and deeply buried targets
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
- Professional Engineering Certification
- Experience in engineering with MEP construction drawing sets
- Knowledge of civil and environmental compliance within an energetic environment
- Master's degree in Engineering
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
CompensationProjected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary is determined by factors including location, education, experience, and contractual requirements. This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
