Overview

Nuclear Systems Analyst & JIPOE Expert role focusing on all-source analysis of nuclear programs, radiological and nuclear threats, and related supply-chain vulnerabilities. This position supports senior government and military decision makers in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct all-source analysis on nuclear programs to include production facilities, stockpiles, logistics, systems employment, security, and vulnerabilities of facilities and stockpiles.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain vulnerabilities of controlled and dual-use technologies, materials, and expertise.
  • Assess State adherence to and implementation of international and bilateral commitments related to nuclear weapons.
  • Conduct applied research on radiological and nuclear threats; generate written intelligence products in accordance with IC Tradecraft Standards and brief analysis to senior DoD leaders.
  • Collaborate with a multi-discipline team to fuse operations and intelligence information, supporting counter proliferation efforts and threat-network analysis.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience with analysis on nuclear proliferation and monitoring of supply chain vulnerabilities for controlled and dual-use technologies and materials.
  • Experience writing to ICD 203 analytic tradecraft standards; experience reviewing analytical products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support.
  • Experience with in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management across organizational and IC boundaries; ability to clearly articulate key findings.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and developments in academia that affect tradecraft methodology.
  • Ability to define problems, supervise studies, and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to provide analytic leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing analytic production methodologies and techniques aligned with nuclear proliferation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
