Responsibilities

  • Conduct all-source analysis of nuclear programs, including production facilities, stockpiles, logistics, system employment, security, and vulnerabilities of facilities and stockpiles.
  • Perform analysis and monitoring of supply‑chain vulnerabilities for controlled and dual‑use technologies, materials, and expertise.
  • Analyze state adherence to and implementation of international and bilateral nuclear‑related commitments.
  • Conduct applied research on specific intelligence issues related to radiological and nuclear threats to U.S. and allied nations.
  • Generate written intelligence products in accordance with IC Tradecraft Standards and brief senior DoD leaders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to fuse operations and intelligence information, supporting government counter‑proliferation efforts and threat‑network mitigation.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in nuclear proliferation analysis and supply‑chain vulnerability assessment of controlled and dual‑use technologies and materials.
  • Experience writing to ICD 203 analytic tradecraft standards.
  • Expertise in conducting all‑source analysis of nuclear programs, including production facilities, stockpiles, logistics, systems employment, security, and vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft compliance, and adequate support.
  • In‑depth analysis experience of analytic operations and knowledge‑management issues across organizational and IC boundaries.
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and recent academic developments that influence tradecraft.
  • Capability to define problems, supervise studies, lead surveys, and recommend solutions, providing analytic leadership and expertise in nuclear‑proliferation analytics.
  • Strong independent work ethic with minimal oversight.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
Nice To Have
  • Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience publishing for the defense intelligence enterprise.
Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation

Projected annual salary range $62,000.00 – $ (USD). Salary determined by factors such as location, education, skills, and experience.
