This graduate position offers mechanical engineering graduates an exceptional opportunity to develop field engineering expertise within Bechtel's renowned construction programs. You will contribute to major industrial projects while building foundational skills in mechanical construction field engineering within multi-disciplinary teams.

• Review drawings for constructability and provide technical interpretation to installation teams
• Monitor construction activities to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and code compliance
• Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare field material requisitions
• Conduct site inspections and produce daily activity reports
• Coordinate input to quantity tracking and progress measurement systems
• Monitor actual costs versus budget allocations
• Prepare punch lists to track incomplete work items
• Support subcontractor bid evaluations and award processes
• Maintain highest safety standards and awareness

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from accredited institution
• Graduation within past 12 months or upcoming 12 months
• Willingness to relocate and travel to domestic/international project sites
• Eligibility to work in US without visa sponsorship
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Strong academic performance with relevant coursework
• Prior co-op or internship experience in construction
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities
• Practical work experience in construction environments
• Demonstrated teamwork capabilities
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish, Arabic, or French preferred)
