Credit Union seeking a Collections Assistant for their office in Reston, VA. Great pay, benefits and stable company. Relocation available.
Job Details:
- We are seeking a debt resolution and/or Collections Specialist to work in Reston, VA.
- Secure the credit union assets and protect from financial loss.
- Process credit insurance coverage, collateral protection, and handle title work for secured loans.
- Maintain document management system for the Credit Union.
- Comply with all Credit Union rules and regulations, including BSA/AML, Loan and Fair Lending Policies.
Responsibilities:
- Work with much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
- Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of collections experience, collector at a bank or credit union.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Compensation:
- Salary: $55,000 - $57,000 per year.
