* Bechtel Enterprises is the project development, investment, and financing arm of Bechtel. We develop projects, lead M&A and project acquisition activities, provide project financing services, and invest in the development of new technologies across power, energy, transportation, communication, and other sectors.  We have developed or co-developed over 70 projects ($46 billion in project costs) and have helped arrange over $54 billion in financing for Bechtel projects.  

Bechtel Enterprises is currently comprised of over 50 professionals with headquarters in Reston, Virginia and offices in Riyadh, Sydney, Perth, London, Houston, New York, and Washington, D.C.

# Financing Services

Bechtel formed its financing services group, Bechtel Financing Services, Inc. in 1969 largely in response to the need to provide financing in support of many of Bechtel's international projects.  Bechtel Financing Services was integrated into a new entity, Bechtel Enterprises, in 1985 and expanded its remit to include project financing for private infrastructure projects.  Today, the Financing Services group in Bechtel Enterprises is responsible for providing financing support to all of Bechtel's Global Business Units and for leading financing activities on Bechtel Enterprises' development projects.  

Additionally, Financing Services provides financial analysis and M&A support to Bechtel.

Job Summary:

Within a team environment, the Associate Manager, Financing Services works on a range of financing services assignments in support of all Bechtel Global Business Units. This includes exposure to our development work in the power and infrastructure sectors including renewable energy, gas, digital infrastructure, transportation, and other related market segments.

This position is designated as part-time telework under Bechtel's global policy and requires a minimum of three days per week in person at the assigned office or project. Weekly schedules will be determined in coordination with the supervisor and functional leadership.

# Major Responsibilities:

+ Financial analysis, due diligence, and evaluation of project opportunities as well as developing and analyzing potential project financing structures.

+ Financial and economic analysis of new markets, new technologies, potential partners, competitors, and M&A targets to evaluate financial feasibility and profitability while balancing risk factors.

+ Understanding the debt capital markets and working with lenders/underwriters to market sound and close financings for Bechtel projects.

+ Understanding project finance principles and their applicability to Bechtel projects.

+ Evaluating and sourcing export credit financing, developing bank financing and other policy bank related initiatives.

+ Other financial analysis activities to support Bechtel's business units and enhance competitiveness and/or mitigate risk.
