Tax Advisor; EA, CPA, CPA

Fast-paced financial advisory firm seeking a tax planning advisor. Primary duties include tax planning and the annual preparation of various federal, state, local, and foreign income tax returns and tax estimates for a variety of taxpayers.

• 4+ years of tax preparation experience
• Preference for experience with Intuit Pro Connect or similar tax software
• Preference for proficiency in Quick Books Online and Microsoft Office

• Prepare Federal and State tax returns for individuals, C Corps, S Corps, Partnerships, and Trusts
• Advise high-net worth clients on financial, tax, and estate planning
• Prepare tax projections, estimated payments, and assist with tax planning aligned with financial goals
• Gather information, research, and respond to tax notices
• Bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative responsibilities
• Review and analyze general ledgers and financial statements
• Collaborate closely with clients to deliver accurate financial and tax data
• Prepare and file local compliance reports as needed

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with reviewers and clients
• Strong problem-solving skills, including researching and applying tax regulations
• Proactive communication to build trust and relationships
• Self-motivated, analytical, organized, team-oriented, capable of managing multiple deadlines
• Technical knowledge of current tax laws
