Position: Project Specialist - TS/SCI Polygraph Required

Description

Leidos is seeking an adaptable and highly organized Project Specialist to support multi‑agency customers in a dynamic, mission‑focused environment. This role requires an individual who takes initiative, collaborates effectively across technical and functional teams, and engages directly with a diverse range of stakeholders.

The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, exceptional professionalism, and strong organizational skills while supporting complex program activities involving government, military, and international partners. This position requires the ability to manage competing priorities and ensure activities are executed within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities Program Administration & Security Operations
  • Provide financial, administrative, and operational support for research and development (R&D) program activities, serving as a primary liaison for internal and external communications.

  • Administer contract security activities, including personnel processing, visit control requests, and badge issuance for contractor personnel.

  • Track mandatory training requirements and maintain databases supporting clearance status and training compliance reporting.

  • Disseminate policies, procedures, and guidance to contractor personnel and government customers.

  • Serve as a point of contact for administrative and security‑related inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Event Management & Logistics
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage resources for program meetings, workshops, exercises, and special engagements.

  • Coordinate event logistics, including facility scheduling, travel arrangements, transportation, security requirements, and lodging accommodations.

  • Develop agendas, prepare briefing materials, conduct pre‑event planning activities, and provide on‑site event support.

  • Execute post‑event closeout activities, including hot washes, executive summaries, lessons learned, and after‑action reports.
