We are currently hiring a Medical Coder

Summary:

One of our Blue Cross Blue Shield clients is seeking a Medical Coder/Reviewer to support the Special Investigations Unit by conducting pre-payment reviews of claims for a large urgent care provider. The hired employees will review procedure codes, including Evaluation and Management (E/M), CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-PCS, and DRG, using scanned and stored medical records in the Conduent EMR system.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of medical review/coding experience
• Active CPC or CPC-A from APPC.org, or CCA, CCS, CCS-P.
• Experience with any EMR/HER
• Basic experience navigating Excel spreadsheets.
