PSS​/Paramedic (PSS​/PARA) - WPS III (Iraq

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced emergency medical care to Contractor personnel, COM personnel, and other individuals as directed by DS/RSO, including invasive and pharmacological interventions within the Contractor’s Scope of Practice and in alignment with National Emergency Medical Services Scope of Practice and WPS III IDIQ Attachment 13 Clinical Protocol Guidance.
• Perform day‑to‑day personal protective security functions, including driving the lead vehicle, principal’s vehicle, follow‑vehicle, and/or acting as a response agent during motorcade operations.
• Maintain assigned protective formation position during the principal’s walking movements and participate in advance security preparations.
• Staff security posts at the principal’s residence or command post as required.

• U.S. citizen and must pass the pre‑employment Physical Readiness Test (PRT).
• Current active National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification as a paramedic.
• Valid CPR Professional Rescuer or American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and advanced trauma training credentials; must have completed the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course or an equivalent tactical trauma course of at least 16 hours within the last 90 days, with a 63‑hour TCCC course required before deployment.
• Minimum three (3) years of pre‑hospital emergency medical services experience at the AEMT or paramedic level; military service as a medical provider may satisfy this requirement but non‑medical ancillary roles do not.
• For PSS positions: minimum one (1) year of experience in protective security assignments if applicable; separate bio approvals are required for other positions.
• Upon bio approval and before beginning work on the contract, must attend and complete the PSS training course, qualify with Glock‑19, M4 or MK18, M240, and M249 as specified, obtain and maintain a Personnel Security Clearance, complete the WPS III Physical Readiness Test at 65% performance level, and have no impediments to overseas travel.
