Medical Assistant - Phlebotomy

Pay From: $23 per hour

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant training program (preferred)
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Experience in a related field, such as med spas, urology, family practice, lab, etc
• Excellent customer service, communication, and multitasking skills
• Proficient with computers and electronic health record systems
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Committed to upholding patient confidentiality

• Greeting patients
• Scheduling appointments
• Managing payments
• Front desk duties (answering phones, keeping lobby clean, etc)
• Organizing office/supplies
• Phlebotomy (blood draws) of patients
• Injections (Testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12 and other vitamins)
• Administering erectile dysfunction treatments (i.e. Shockwave Therapy and PRP Prep)
• Checking patient vitals and recording in EMR
• Ensuring all lab results are input into patient charts
• Assisting medical providers with patient care (specifically the Lead MA)
• Assisting in lab operations
• Maintaining accurate records in EMR and adhering to all HIPAA Protocols
