Join our award-winning Commercial Services Team at Hyatt Regency Reston which is situated in the heart of the Dulles Technology quarter just 25 minutes from Washington, and home to many of the world’s top Fortunate 500 Companies. Our hotel features 518 guestrooms to be completely renovated in 2025, along with more than 32,000 square feet of newly renovated, pillar free, centrally located meeting space, which contains up to 22 individual breakout rooms.

The largest hotel in Fairfax County by room count we also boast the second largest ballroom in the county at 12,300 sq ft.

Responsibilities
  • Focus on servicing sale bookings, acting as liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel operations
  • Administer sales agreements, detail food, beverage and A/V needs, manage room blocks and pickup, handle billing instructions, and conduct final review
  • Be on-site during all events and responsible for the smooth execution of all events
  • Prepare and present effective proposals and presentations, maintain well organized documentation and reports, and utilize Hyatt technology systems
  • Coordinate customer service requirements with hotel operations staff as appropriate
  • Participate in and may lead events meetings and other staff meetings, integral part of the on‑property commercial services team
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3‑4 years of Hotel Events experience
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training
  • Have completed selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
  • Demonstrate strategic account and business development skills
