Guest Room Inspector
Crescent Hotels & Resorts is announcing an exciting opportunity for a talented Guest Room Inspector for the JW Marriott Reston Station Hotel. The hotel is a 28‑story landmark overlooking Reston Row, with 247 rooms on 12 floors, 35,000 sq ft of meeting space, two ballrooms, and the JW Residences on the remaining 16 floors. It is located along the Silver Line Metro, between Dulles International and Reagan National airports.
CoreResponsibilities
- Provide open communication, training, and coaching to housekeeping staff to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas, and the back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards, and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Issue assignments to staff, reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation.
- Issue supplies and goods to staff at the beginning of each shift to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses.
- Respond to guest requests, concerns, and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Log items into Lost and Found, answer inquiries, and maintain controls to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Implement emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel, guests, staff, and company assets.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Hourly rate: $23.40
