Job Summary:

In this role, you are responsible for the design and development of a broad scope of Talent Management programs to meet business needs and HR priorities across a global organization. You will lead and collaborate on agile problem-solving teams to design and develop solutions for talent management programs, which may include pipeline programs (early, mid, senior career), competencies and career pathing, learning and development, organizational design, organizational development, or performance management.

Your work will positively impact Talent Management efforts at Bechtel to be forward-thinking, competitive, and effective. This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.

Major

Responsibilities:
  • Acts as project manager for assigned programs, translating high-level strategy and conceptual design into detailed program design, including work where requirements are still forming and the path forward must be shaped rather than received.
  • Presents program information to key stakeholders to gain buy-in, and builds alignment and influences design decisions across HR and the business without formal authority over the contributors involved.
  • Owns the project schedule: sets and manages timelines, forms and leads the day-to-day activities of cross-functional project teams, holds contributors to their commitments, escalates early when a date is at risk, and ensures proper quality assurance of deliverables.
  • Confirms alignment between program owner expectations and project goals throughout design, seeks feedback from stakeholders as the work progresses, and incorporates it into subsequent iterations.
  • Tailors enterprise programs to meet the needs of our global business units to ensure programs will resonate with all cultures and geographies that make up the Bechtel enterprise.
  • Collaborates with colleagues across HR, including Communities of Expertise, People Operations, and HR Business Partners, and ensures seamless transition of work responsibility from the program design team to program delivery within People Operations and our global business units.
  • Utilizes various data collection methodologies to help inform the design and development of talent management programs.
  • Ensures a diversity, inclusion, and engagement lens is integrated into all talent management processes and systems.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
