Job Summary:

The University Relations Recruiter develops and executes strategies to attract, engage, and hire early-career talent across Bechtel's global business lines. The role manages full-cycle recruiting for interns, university graduates, and entry-level hires; advises business and HR partners on workforce needs; and builds university and professional-association partnerships that strengthen talent pipelines and Bechtel's employer brand.

The successful candidate uses recruiting data, market insights, relationship management, and project management skills to improve hiring outcomes in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Domestic travel to universities, career fairs, conferences, and recruiting events is required.  LI-EH1

# Major Responsibilities:

+ Develop and execute university recruiting strategies for internship, university graduate, and entry-level hiring across business functions, projects, and locations.

+ Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including workforce planning, requisition strategy, sourcing, screening, assessment, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding support.

+ Consult with hiring managers, Human Resources partners, and business leaders to identify talent needs, share market insights, and recommend recruiting approaches aligned with business objectives.

+ Build diverse talent pipelines through university partnerships, student and professional organizations, employee referrals, CRM campaigns, campus engagement, and proactive sourcing.

+ Plan and execute career fairs, university events, information sessions, networking activities, and national conferences; represent Bechtel as an employer of choice across in-person and digital channels.

+ Evaluate candidates through resume review, interviews, assessments, and behavioral screening; provide recommendations and facilitate timely selection and offer decisions.

+ Analyze recruiting metrics, event outcomes, pipeline health, and labor-market trends; use applicant tracking, CRM, and reporting tools to maintain data integrity, monitor performance, and identify improvement opportunities.

+ Collaborate across business units, HR functions, and regions to deliver a consistent, scalable university recruiting program and support strategic diversity recruiting partnerships.
