Oracle Government, Defense and Intelligence is seeking an experienced People Soft Developer with a broad understanding of Oracle-based solutions, industry best practices, and technology designs. A successful candidate will operate independently to provide quality work products to our customers, performing complex duties and tasks that leverage domain expertise to implement Oracle products and technology to provide value.

Demonstrates expertise delivering functional and technical solutions on intermediately complex customer engagements. Experienced in leading solution design and implementation, ensuring high quality and integrated software solutions within time and budget constraints, translating customer needs into system development requirements and tasks, and identifying business development opportunities. Strong communication skills with internal and external personnel are a must.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers, executive leaders, and team members.
• Assess high-level architectural design, research potential implementation road maps, and conduct feasibility assessments.
• Apply analytical and creative problem‑solving skills for design, creation, and testing of software.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Deep People Tools knowledge across the toolset with experience recommending low‑cost, long‑term maintenance solutions; functional HCM knowledge required.
• Excellent People Tools development skills for customizations and bolt‑ons including portal pages, work centers, workflow & approval, event mapping, notifications, and page and field configurator.
• Design and develop People Soft portal pages, user work centers, workflow notification and approval functions, and solutions using Page and Field Configurator, Event Mapping.
• Design, develop, and maintain integration routines among People Soft applications and between People Soft and non‑People Soft applications using Integration Broker and messages.
• In‑depth knowledge of Application Engine, Application Packages, and SQL with correlated subqueries.

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience with People Tools development including Application Designer, People Code, AE, File Layouts, and SQR.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
• Effective communication and rapport‑building with team members and clients.
• Experience throughout the software development life cycle utilizing People Soft.
• Passion for technology, curiosity, and willingness to learn new skills, tools, and innovative approaches to complex challenges.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and translate functional needs to technical solutions.

• Strong programming fundamentals and deep understanding of database concepts.
• Strong experience in SQL and troubleshooting.
• People Soft certifications or ability to obtain them.
• Good programming skills in one of the classic software languages.
• Exposure to Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Cloud training or experience with AWS or Oracle Cloud.

US – Hiring range: $97,500 – $199,500 per year. Eligible for bonus and equity.
