Job Summary:

The Reporting Analyst will work with large datasets to clean, deduplicate, and prepare accurate deliverables for clients. This role involves managing ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to deliver high-quality results.

• Assist in data collection, preprocessing, and cleaning to ensure data quality.
• Enforce strict data hygiene standards during preprocessing to eliminate errors and inconsistencies before analysis.
• Perform complex entity resolution to identify and merge duplicate records, consolidating millions of data points into unified final reports.
• Maintain an ETL pipeline for efficient data processing
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, and trends in the data
• Ensure compliance with relevant privacy regulations by identifying and managing confidential or protected information.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data in accordance with applicable laws and organizational policies.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data engineering, data analytics, or similar field or equivalent experience
• Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros); VBA strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in documents.
• Experience with data cleaning, preprocessing, and process improvement is preferred
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Familiarity with automation or AI-assisted code is a plus.

This is a fully onsite role, and we prefer candidates local to Reston. This role will start as a part time position, with the goal to move into a full-time position after a gestation period. The full-time position will require the employee to remain in the office beyond standard working hours until all essential duties and assignments are completed. Work hours may vary depending on workload and business needs.
