SummaryAs a Sr. System Analyst
, you will play a key role on a small, collaborative team supporting NVR’s HRIS/Payroll platform. You will leverage your expertise in SQL development and system configuration to develop and maintain system logic, vendor integrations, analytics, and essential processes across Benefits, Payroll, and HR Operations. Additionally, you will provide technical support to HR and Payroll users and contribute to enhancing functionality and streamlining processes to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL stored procedures, scripts, views, and user interfaces supporting HR/Payroll/Benefits logic.
- Customize application modules including benefit enrollment wizards, data audit rules, leave accrual logic, and workflows.
- Mange file integrations with medical, life, disability, expense, learning management, payroll, tax, and 401K vendors.
- Investigate and resolve complex logic defects, payroll issues, benefit eligibility errors, and data discrepancies.
- Provide high priority support during Open Enrollment, Year-End, and Payroll cycles. Off‑hours work may occasionally be required, but only during these limited peak times.
- Build and maintain analytics dashboards, compliance reports, and custom SQL driven reporting solutions.
- Create self-service reporting capabilities for business users using stored procedures and/or integrated Crystal reports.
- Document logic, workflows, file specifications, and data models.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a technical role supporting HRIS, Payroll, or Benefits systems.
- Expertise in writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL stored procedures specifically using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience configuring and maintaining data exports for integration with third-party systems and vendors.
- Familiarity with payroll, benefits, and HR business processes.
- Experience working effectively within small teams, adapting to shifting priorities, and taking on a wide range of tasks as needed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with development using .NET and JavaScript is preferred but not required.
