• V2X is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Asset Management Specialist. This candidate will be a high caliber, multi-dimensional IT Asset Management expert with proven skills in assisting organizations in adopting IT Asset Management best practices and optimizing them on the Service Now platform. Successful candidates will have experience running multiple IT Asset Management (Hardware & Software) projects from start to finish, including workshop delivery, requirement gathering, and development.
  
  The ability to design, implement, and maintain Software Asset Management programs to include informing and making decisions on license retention and overall governance.

• While this team member will specialize in IT Asset Management, we value platform versatility and broad background so expertise in core areas of the Service Now platform like IT Service Management, CMDB, and Performance Analytics, as well as industry concepts like Business Service Mapping, Fin Ops, and Technical Business Management will allow the successful candidate to operate across multiple disciplines.

• You will provide the Organization with incredible data-driven insights and valuable analysis, presented across a wide array of formats including system-driven dashboards and reports, as well as presentations you will deliver to audiences including Asset owners, Operational IT teams, and Executive Leadership.

• You will develop processes, relationships, positively influence how teams/individuals collaborate with suppliers/vendors, data, and each other to achieve well-aligned business outcomes.

• Productively manages priorities and demands between ITSM-driven tasks (incidents, requests, changes), and project-based workloads (both Agile and Waterfall) to ensure proper prioritization, coordination, and distribution between yourself and willing/capable teammates.

  Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the Service Now platform, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to the Service Now platform.

• Collaborate with stakeholders as well as assess current state processes and tools, define Service Now solution requirements, and configure Service Now in alignment with these requirements.

• Assist with the creation of stories, documentation, and technical knowledge transfer activities.

• Lead in the development, implementation, and sustainment/maturing of processes and systematic data that allows V2X to effectively manage all software, hardware, and cloud assets across the Enterprise:

• Provide expertise and leadership strategically leading IT Software, Hardware, and Service agreements and suppliers including:

• Interpreting licensing terms and conditions

• Reconciling software license positions

• Proactive license renewal and software reuse

• Attaining software compliance

• Configure, customize, and code all areas of the IT Asset Management product line, including Software Asset Management (SAM) Professional, Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Professional, Procurement, CMDB, Client Software Distribution, and Cloud cost management.

• Stay informed about software licensing models, pricing structures, and industry trends to inform decision-making and optimize costs.

• Work to develop, design and own technical solutions on the Service Now platform. You will provide administration, application development, maintenance, and technical solutions on the Service Now platform.

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for software asset management to optimize utilization and minimize risks.
