Skills:
Designs large-scale CI/CD architectures, applies advanced cloud and security patterns, and builds reusable automation frameworks. - Work & Complexity: Oversees reliability and scalability initiatives, manages cross-functional efforts to resolve high-impact issues, and drives platform standardization.
- Quality & Independence: Defines team processes and standards, conducts rigorous code and infrastructure reviews, and enforces best practices for monitoring and incident response.

- Consulting & Engagement: Provides strategic consulting on Dev Ops initiatives, leads improvement programs, and partners with leadership on roadmap decisions.
AIS is supporting a new Leidos account focused on architecture and infrastructure services in the Boston/Hanscom area. This is a subcontract engagement (approximately 15% workshare) with significant near‑term hiring demand (~50 roles) to support federal mission delivery. Roles are primarily remote, with Massachusetts candidates preferred and availability targeted for March/April.
Key Responsibilities- Develops strategy and integration methodology around design, development and implementation of cloud based solutions.
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications.
- Utilize trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes.
- Responsible for systems functionality, performance, and configurations issues.
- Enables the quick development and release of changes and bug‑fixes on an as‑required basis and incorporation of feedback from developers/users.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable releases and rollbacks.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation to improve consistency and scalability.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments.
- Certifications:
IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications. - Able to obtain a minimum of a Secret security clearance; active Secret preferred.
- Experience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering / documentation practices.
- Active Secret clearance (or higher).
- Massachusetts-based candidate or ability to support periodic on‑site needs at Leidos sites in Concord or Tewksbury, MA.
