MANTECH seeks an experienced Senior Imagery Analyst to support mission‑critical intelligence operations focused on underground facilities (UGFs), C4
ISR facilities and networks, and target materials production in Reston, VA.
This role supports national security objectives by applying advanced GEOINT, imagery research, and specialized NTM analysis to complex hard and deeply buried target problems. You will work closely with the customer and mission partners to exploit current and historical imagery, identify specialized sensor applications, and produce high‑quality GEOINT products that inform operational and strategic decision‑making.
Responsibilities- In this role, you will apply advanced GEOINT and imagery analysis tradecraft to solve complex intelligence problems and support national‑level missions.
- Perform GEOINT analysis of underground facilities, C4
ISR facilities and networks, and target materials production activities. - Conduct imagery research and analysis using current and historical softcopy imagery, including commercial, airborne, and NTM sources.
- Research and leverage appropriate databases and data repositories to amplify imagery‑derived information and produce standard and specialized imagery analysis products.
- Work with analysts, engineers, and mission partners to identify specialized NTM sensor applications and collection strategies.
- Exploit NTM, airborne, and civil or commercial imagery to derive target details not obtainable through other intelligence sources.
- Apply spatial and temporal analysis of OSINT, HUMINT, and SIGINT reporting to characterize GEOINT assessments.
- Utilize manual and electronic light table capabilities and a full suite of imagery exploitation and geospatial tools.
- Produce specialized NTM‑derived analysis and GEOINT products for incorporation into Intelligence Community reporting.
- Collaborate with national and service intelligence agencies and centers to support integrated analytic efforts.
- Support the tasking and exploitation of overhead intelligence collection systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant military or Intelligence Community experience may be substituted for a degree.
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience providing GEOINT support, including spatial and temporal analysis of OSINT, HUMINT, and SIGINT reporting.
- 3+ years of intelligence analysis experience within the Intelligence Community or military commands at the national and tactical levels.
- Demonstrated experience researching and exploiting commercial and airborne imagery sources, including current and historical softcopy imagery.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with national and service intelligence agencies and centers.
- Strong knowledge of overhead intelligence collection systems and the tasking of NTM, airborne, and civil or commercial sensors.
- Strong knowledge of digital imagery data types, including commercial imagery, NTM, airborne imagery, motion and full‑motion imagery, panchromatic, spectral, and SAR data.
- Strong knowledge of manual and electronic light table functionalities.
- Working knowledge of imagery and geospatial systems and software, including Remote View, Socet GXP, ERDAS Imagine, ArcGIS, and Arc Pro.
- In‑depth imagery analysis experience across multiple Areas of Interest within the Asia Pacific region.
- Experience analyzing patterns of life, economic stability, and import and export activities through imagery analysis.
- Experience collaborating with the Office of Naval Intelligence on assigned Areas of Interest.
- Experience collaborating with MGAP partners by answering analytic questions and providing subject matter insight.
- Experience attending partner meetings as an subject matter expert for a branch or mission area.
- Experience creating initial analytic baselines for known Areas of Interest with direct mission impact.
- Experience developing and authoring GEOINT products aligned with Presidential Intelligence Priorities.
- Experience supporting standing collection requirements for assigned mission areas.
- An active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing GEOINT and imagery analysis.
- Must be able to occasionally move about the work area to collaborate with team members and access mission systems.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co‑workers, management, and customers to exchange accurate information and present analytic findings.
