Senior Ab Initio Developer

GeBBS Consulting, a leader in Healthcare Technology solutions, has an opening for a Senior Ab Initio Developer to support a major DMV‑area healthcare payer partner. This role is hybrid with a once per week onsite requirement in Reston, VA. This is a long‑term contract opportunity.

The Senior Ab Initio Developer will support the development of data pipelines that migrate data from multiple mainframe source systems and load into various cloud and on‑prem databases.

• Work with Business Analysts and Product team to gather data requirements.
• Design and Build Ab Initio data graphs and data pipelines to extract the data various databases/flat files/message queues.
• Transform the data to create a consumable data layer for various application uses.
• Support Data pipeline with bug fixes, and additional enhancements.
• Document technical designs and operational runbooks as needed.

• 10+ Years of IT Experience predominantly in Data Integration/ Data Warehouse space.
• 5+ years of ETL Design and Development experience using Ab Initio.
• 1+ year of Data Integration experience on the Hadoop Platform, preferably using Cloudera.
• Strong experience with SQL and ability to write well performing SQL queries.
