Business Analyst

This role is for a Business Analyst supporting the implementation of Okta authentication across multiple applications and systems within the ESA V program
.

ESA V delivers IT applications and infrastructure services to several Department of Justice (DOJ) customers, including the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Services include application support, help desk and deskside support, Windows workstation engineering, managed print services, ITSM, Active Directory, and video conferencing.

As the program expands to support cloud migration and application modernization, the Business Analyst will coordinate requirements across technical teams, project managers, and customers while supporting high-visibility, deadline-driven initiatives.

This is a 100% remote role in a fast-paced environment and is contingent upon obtaining required government security clearance.

• Analyze, evaluate, and document application and system functions, configurations, and related business processes.

• Gather stakeholder requirements and produce clear reports and analysis.

• Facilitate meetings and present findings, analysis, and recommendations.

• Document and communicate technical migration approaches for systems and applications.

• Create, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements.

• Write user stories and acceptance criteria and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Develop strong understanding of business processes, best practices, and supporting technologies.

• Coordinate change management activities and track project information for large, time-sensitive initiatives.

• Support solution development by collaborating closely with technical teams.

• Train system owners and end users on new processes and solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience
  (High school diploma with 4 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree).

• Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

• Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and on-time delivery skills.

• Experience in Business Analysis and requirements development
  .

• Strong technical writing and documentation experience.

• Ability to explain technical concepts to technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders.

• Excellent teamwork and organizational skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  .

• Experience with
  Identity and Access Management (IdAM), especially Okta integration
  .

• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.

• Experience with testing to validate requirements.

• Experience delivering end-user training.

• Government contracting experience, particularly with DOJ.

• Existing DOJ clearance.

• Must be eligible for a Government Public Trust security investigation
  .

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Selected candidates cannot start until clearance is granted.

• Pay Range: $92,300 – $166,850 (range is a guideline; final compensation depends on experience, skills, and other factors).
