Overview
VTG is seeking a Close Support Technician who is responsible for providing in-depth support and problem resolution for Information Technology products, access administration, and/or applications.
What will you do?- Interacts with users to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and performance problems for customers using LANs, PCs, and printers.
- Analyzes and assesses customer requirements to the appropriate technical business unit, and may serve on teams installing software upgrades.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (equivalent military training may be considered)
- 6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, network exploitation, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve technical problems, and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Thorough knowledge of standard desktop hardware and software.
- Demonstrated knowledge of server administration, maintenance, and user account management.
- An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
