This position is contingent upon award.
Required clearance:TS/SCI with willingness to take CI poly.
Candidates with current CI poly taken within the past seven years will be prioritized.
Required experience:At least 5 years
Required education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant field and 5+ years relevant experience
DescriptionNalley Consulting has an opportunity for an experienced Data Scientist to support on-going research and development efforts for functional characterization of WMD facilities and their associated design.
Responsibilities- Provide data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence support.
- Conduct data engineering tasks to integrate multiple APIs, and support process automation, data visualization, and application integration.
- Develop tools to automate data analysis of large data sets.
- 4+ years of experience using programming languages, including Python, R, or Java, to manipulate and analyze data
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant field
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within or lead a team of peers, as well as excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to communicate highly technical analyses at a level comprehensible to laymen and senior-level government representatives
- Ability to clearly express in writing technical analysis results
- Combining multiple date sources into GUI (graphic user interface) and visual and geographical displays.
- Pythonand Tableau experience.
- Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
- Experience with analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
- Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis
- Experience with developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of target data sources
- Experience with leading the development of solutions to complex problems
- Experience with natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniques
- Experience implementing automation in processing, presenting, or manipulating data
- Demonstrated ability writing ICD 203 and ICD 206-compliant finished intelligence production
- 7+ years of experience in solving DoD data science problems
- Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging Python and SQL
- Experience with developing solutions incorporating Large Language Models
- Experience with Python data science and visualization packages
- Experience with Excel MBA
- Experience with AC2SP, R, Git Hub, and Palantir
- An active CI polygraph
