Location:
Reston, Virginia.
Position is contingent upon award. Requires TS/SCI clearance with willingness to take a CI polygraph. Candidates with a current CI polygraph taken within the past seven years will be prioritized.
Required education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a relevant field. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Nalley Consulting offers an opportunity for an experienced Data Scientist to support ongoing research and development efforts for functional characterization of WMD facilities and their associated designs. The successful candidate will provide data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence support, conduct data engineering tasks to integrate multiple APIs, and support process automation, data visualization, and application integration.
Responsibilities- Provide data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence support.
- Conduct data engineering tasks to integrate multiple APIs, support process automation, data visualization, and application integration.
- Develop tools to automate data analysis of large data sets.
- 4+ years of experience using programming languages, including Python, R, or Java, to manipulate and analyze data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a relevant field.
- Ability to work effectively within or lead a team of peers, with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to communicate highly technical analyses to laymen and senior-level government representatives.
- Ability to clearly express technical analysis results in writing.
- Combine multiple data sources into GUIs and visual and geographical displays.
- Python and Tableau experience.
- Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining.
- Experience with analyzing structured and unstructured data sources.
- Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis.
- Experience with developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of target data sources.
- Experience leading the development of solutions to complex problems.
- Experience with natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniques.
- Experience implementing automation in processing, presenting, or manipulating data.
- Experience writing ICD 203 and ICD 206 compliant finished intelligence production.
- 7+ years of experience solving DoD data science problems.
- Experience in developing algorithms leveraging Python and SQL.
- Experience with developing solutions incorporating Large Language Models.
- Experience with Python data science and visualization packages.
- Experience with Excel, MBA, AC2SP, R, Git Hub, and Palantir.
- An active CI polygraph.
