SUMMARYAgile Defense is seeking an Enterprise Asset Manager who is a highly skilled and experienced professional responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of all USG customer organizational assets, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity assets. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership capabilities.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles, best practices, and methodologies (e.g., ITIL, ISO 19770); deep understanding of hardware, software, and cloud asset life cycles.
• Proficiency in asset discovery tools and techniques for network, endpoint, and cloud environments; strong understanding of software licensing models, compliance, and optimization strategies.
• Solid grasp of cybersecurity principles, threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST RMF, CSF); familiarity with secure configuration baselines and configuration management best practices.
• Ability to integrate asset data into security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
• Extensive experience with leading ITAM/EAM platforms and CMDB solutions (e.g., Service Now, Flexera, Ivanti, BMC); evaluating, implementing, and managing asset management tools.
• Familiarity with automation concepts and scripting for asset data collection and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau); developing and tracking KPIs and metrics for asset management effectiveness; strong analytical skills to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.

Certifications:
- Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM)
- Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)
- ITIL Foundation or higher (e.g., ITIL v4 Managing Professional)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
5–7 years of progressive professional experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) roles; at least 3–5 years in a lead or managerial capacity overseeing asset management programs within a large, complex enterprise environment.
PREFERRED SKILLSExperience with IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) in hybrid environments including mobile devices, multi‑cloud environments, on‑premise, data centers, or IoT environments.
WORKING CONDITIONSHybrid role in Reston, VA. Environmental conditions and strength demands physical requirements as stated in the original posting.
