The National Wildlife Federation is seeking a Manager, Core Mission Support Systems to join our Data and Technology department in Reston, Virginia. This role reports to the Director of Online Operations and Projects and oversees systems that support core mission functions such as Governance, Legal, People, Program Operations, and Finance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of SaaS systems (Agiloft, Airtable, Board Effect, OnSolve, Docu Sign) and future HRIS/ERP implementations. Understand business processes within each platform and oversee access, permissions, identity management, security, and advanced configuration.
  • Conduct business process reengineering with super‑users to identify gaps and propose technical, process, or training solutions. Translate user requirements into technical specifications.
  • Serve on project teams for large‑scale platform implementations, new functionality, or process redesigns.
  • Create requirements documents, training materials, and testing scripts. Design and lead testing for new platforms or features.
  • Act as subject‑matter expert for integrations between portfolio platforms and other systems. Maintain documentation of data flow and update integrations as needed.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues, communicate with users, and surface improvement opportunities.
  • Perform regular data integrity checks and resolve data issues.
  • Serve as main point of contact for platform vendors, monitor vendor roadmaps, and communicate changes or downtime to users.
  • Coordinate response to system incidents, including outages or cybersecurity events.
  • Manage the Core Mission Support System Specialist.
Qualifications
  • 3‑5 years of experience in business or systems analysis and digital transformation or business process reengineering.
  • 3‑5 years managing platforms, serving as user liaison, and coordinating with technical staff and vendors.
  • Superior interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
  • Aptitude for learning new technology and platforms.
  • Experience developing user requirements, documentation, and process analyses.
  • Ability to facilitate groups, prioritize competing projects, and be flexible and agile in a changing environment.
  • High emotional intelligence and functional acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and integrate with multiple teams.
Physical Requirements

  • Maintain focus while using a computer or attending meetings.
  • Operate standard office equipment.

  • Work is performed primarily in an office or remote setting with extended screen time and virtual meetings.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $75,000 – $85,000, commensurate with experience.

  • Paid time off:
