Senior Systems Administrator

• Top Secret/SCI Clearance (must currently possess).
• Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI + Polygraph.
• US Citizenship required.

Transforms technology into opportunity by designing and implementing infrastructure changes, managing VMware environments, administering Windows and Linux systems, creating STIG compliant images, deploying software packages, mentoring staff, scripting automation, maintaining hardware, and ensuring project success.

• Plans, designs, and implements infrastructure changes and system upgrades.
• Manages and troubleshoots multiple VMware environments.
• Provides Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Creates STIG compliant images for Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux OS.
• Creates, tests, and deploys software packages using SCCM, PDQ, etc.
• Provides expert level support and mentoring for mid and junior Systems Administrator personnel.
• Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures for system and software changes.
• Utilizes scripting to automate common tasks.
• Performs hardware maintenance/repair activities.
• Ensures proper planning and execution of major projects/maintenance activities.
• Provides advanced level administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers.

• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to write scripts using Power Shell and/or Bash.
• Experience managing VMware, Nutanix, and similar enterprise virtual infrastructures.
• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory and GPO.
• Security+ Certified.
• Must be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2 preferred).
• Bachelor of Arts or Science in a field applicable to this work.

• Linux OS (CentOS, RHEL) administration.
• Satellite server administration.
• Ansible playbook writing.
• Implementing STIGs.
• Experience supporting a software configuration management and development environment.

Salary range: $136,000 – $184,000, based on experience, location, and contractual requirements.
