- Candidates must be local to MD / VA / DC area
- Final round will be in-person (F2F) interview in Reston, VA
Lead Agile Business Analysis, SAFe/Scrum/Kanban, Healthcare Payer domain, Jira (expert), backlog management, user story writing, stakeholder management, and experience with large Agile teams.
- Lead business analysis efforts across Agile teams, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, and QA teams
- Own backlog management, prioritization, and refinement
- Write and manage high-quality user stories in Jira (10-15 per week)
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, etc.)
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable deliverables
- Drive continuous improvement and value delivery in Agile environments
- Ensure effective stakeholder communication and engagement
- Work closely with engineering and data teams on system and process improvements
- 8+ years of Business Analyst experience
- 2-3+ years as a Lead Business Analyst
- Strong experience in Healthcare Payer / Insurance domain
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Hands-on expertise with Jira (SME level required)
- Experience working with large Agile teams (10+ members)
- Strong backlog management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work with technical teams and complex systems
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- SAFe / Agile certifications
- Experience with UI-driven applications
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs / Web Services
- Exposure to Cloud / Dev Ops environments
