The Role

As a Cybersecurity Program Manager, you will be vital in the leadership and execution of a crucial cybersecurity program for one of our federal clients. Collaborating closely with the Program Lead, you will help deliver Security Operations Support Services across 16 critical cybersecurity disciplines. Your leadership will ensure daily operations run smoothly, manage contractor activities, maintain essential program documentation, and guarantee all contractual obligations are met with the utmost quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Lead in overseeing task order activities across all 16 cybersecurity service areas.
  • Guide contractor teams in resolving complex cybersecurity challenges.
  • Support the development and maintenance of key contract deliverables like the Project Management Plan (PMP) and monthly status reports.
  • Act as a primary liaison with government stakeholders when the Program Lead is unavailable.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and analyze performance metrics to ensure compliance and high‑quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate task assignments among contract teams to promote efficient operations and readiness.
  • Assist in planning, tracking, and executing contract‑level initiatives and strategic activities.
  • Ensure alignment between cybersecurity services and contract requirements with mission goals.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of comprehensive project or program management experience in information systems or computer network services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and drive completion across various technical areas.
  • Experienced in developing and overseeing contract deliverables and project documentation.
  • Background in cybersecurity, IT operations, or federal program environments is a plus.
Preferred

Certifications:
  • CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
  • CISSP ISSMP - Information Systems Security Management Professional
  • CISM - Certified Information Security Manager
  • PMP - Project Management Professional
  • Experience in coordinating large, multidisciplinary teams.
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

As part of local law, Accenture Federal Services provides competitive compensation for roles based on market conditions in multiple states. The salary range for this role is $116,900 - $243,100 USD, and compensation may vary based on factors such as location, responsibilities, and experience level.
