DevOps Team Lead

** Description*

** Dev Ops Team Lead
** to join our team. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, overseeing project development while contributing to the development and maintenance of cloud-based applications and/or services. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing code, architecting infrastructure, and guiding a team toward delivering reliable, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

+ Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Dev Ops engineers and developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.

+ Project Management:
Plan, coordinate, and drive development and infrastructure projects from inception through delivery, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.

+ Web Application Development:
Contribute to and oversee the design, development, and deployment of web applications using modern frameworks and best practices.

+ Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud environments across AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.

+ Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Design and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform and Packer, promoting reproducible, version-controlled infrastructure deployments.

+ CI/CD Pipeline Development:
Build and maintain robust continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to streamline code deployment and reduce release cycles.

+ Security & Compliance:
Collaborate with cybersecurity team to embed best practices into the Dev Ops lifecycle, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.

* + Bachelors and 14 years or more experience;
Masters and 12 years or more experience;
PhD or JD and 9 years or more experience.

+ 8+ years of experience in Dev Ops, site reliability engineering, or a related field.

+ 3+ years of hands-on development experience building and deploying web applications (e.g., using JavaScript/Type Script, Python, Go, Java, or similar languages).

+ 3+ years of experience working with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including core services (compute, networking, storage, identity management).

+ Strong proficiency with Terraform and Packer for infrastructure provisioning and image management.

+ 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team lead role, including managing projects, setting priorities, and mentoring team members.

+ Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI/CD, Azure Dev Ops, or similar.

+ Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, or AKS).

+ Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
