CGI is seeking an experienced AI Developer to design, build, and deploy Agentic AI solutions that automate and optimize complex business workflows within a highly regulated financial services environment. This role focuses on developing intelligent, LLM-powered multi-agent systems using AWS Strands and related AWS services to streamline business processes, improve decision-making, and drive operational efficiency.

This role is located at a client site in either Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

CGI is seeking an experienced AI Developer to design, build, and deploy Agentic AI solutions that automate and optimize complex business workflows within a highly regulated financial services environment. This role focuses on developing intelligent, LLM-powered multi-agent systems using AWS Strands and related AWS services to streamline business processes, improve decision-making, and drive operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will combine strong AI engineering expertise with cloud-native development skills to create scalable, production-grade solutions. Responsibilities include designing agent architectures, integrating AI systems with enterprise platforms and APIs, implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) capabilities, and translating business requirements into AI-driven automation workflows. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and technology teams to deliver innovative solutions aligned with an AI-first operating model.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 5+ years of software development and cloud engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, or related AI/ML technologies.

. Strong proficiency in Python development, including building scalable AI and automation solutions.

. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, particularly Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway, and related serverless technologies.

. Deep understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt engineering.

. Experience designing and implementing Agentic AI frameworks and multi-agent architectures.

. Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns and vector-based search solutions.

. Ability to integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, and data platforms.

. Experience developing and deploying production-grade AI applications in cloud environments.

. Understanding of workflow orchestration, automation, and AI-driven decisioning.

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

. Experience working within financial services, mortgage, lending, risk, compliance, or related regulated industries is highly preferred.

. Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud security.

. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Skillset:

AWS certifications (such as AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect, or Machine Learning Specialty) are highly desirable.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field.
