Technical Business Analyst
The Technical Business Analyst is expected to be able to accomplish the following:
- Provides expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives relative to the business plan and industry requirements.
- Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as production and inventory control systems, financial tracking systems, call center management and human resources systems.
- Works independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance related to the business implications of the application of various systems.
- Devises and/or modifies procedures to solve technical problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
- Creates detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
Required qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
- BS, 5-7 years of relevant experience; MS, 3-5 years;
PhD, 0-3 years
Desired qualifications:
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) – IIBA or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
- ITIL® 4 Foundation
- Certified Systems Analyst (if applicable environment)
- IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE)
- Agile Analysis Certification (IIBA-AAC)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner)
- SAFe Agilist (SA)
- Security+ (baseline awareness of DoD cyber environment)
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
- CISM
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
- AWS Cloud Practitioner
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
- CompTIA Data+
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Minimum)
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Preferred)
- COBIT 2019 Foundation
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency's Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Technical Business Analyst provides expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives relative to the business plan and industry requirements. Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
