OVIP Program Overview
Oracle’s Veteran internship and integration program (OVIP) provides transitioning military veterans and active‑duty military spouses new to corporate culture with hands‑on job‑skill training and professional development. Interns work closely with corporate leadership, veteran coaches, and HR to prepare for a successful career transition.

Responsibilities- Support the Oracle Government, Defense & Intelligence (GDI) team in Federal Compliance and Federal Sales.
- Assist the GDI Performance Management team with documentation, processes, and policies.
- Maintain business relationships on information security requirements.
- Support federal compliance initiatives and design of process/documentation for CMMC and related efforts.
- Collaborate with other Oracle One Federal teams.
- Experience with Cybersecurity and Information Security.
- Understanding of NIST SP 800‑53, NIST SP 800‑171, CMMC, DFARS (desired).
- Knowledge of security principles, techniques, protocols, and systems (firewalls, IDS, anti‑virus, authentication, log management, filtering).
- Strong communication of security issues to peers, management, customers, and end users.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- US Citizens with the ability to obtain a US security clearance if required.
- Knowledge of application security standards and requirements.
- Experience managing risk, information security, and environment management projects.
- Strong multitasking ability and keen eye for detail.
- Organization and ability to thrive in fast‑paced environment.
- Collaboration with other Oracle One Federal teams.
- US-based role; may require compliance with occupational health mandates and drug testing.
- US security clearance (if needed).
Hourly wage: $30 per hour (40‑hour work week). Salary range: $18.17‑$34.62 per hour ($37,800‑$72,000 per year).
