Job Description

Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets for Oracle Technology Cloud solutions within the Civilian sector, identifying key opportunities and aligning Oracle offerings with agency priorities.
  • People Leadership &

    Coaching:

    Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technology cloud sales professionals, establishing a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and sales excellence.
  • Pipeline & Forecast Management:
    Drive disciplined pipeline management, forecast accuracy, territory planning, and execution to consistently achieve and exceed business objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior DHS and Civilian sector decision‑makers, contracting officers, and technical stakeholders to understand mission requirements and technology modernization goals.
  • Technology Solution Leadership:
    Partner with solution engineering, architecture, and product teams to position Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Technology Cloud solutions that address security, compliance, performance, and mission‑critical requirements.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with marketing, legal, contracting, and delivery teams to support proposals, RFP/RFI responses, negotiations, and successful customer outcomes.
  • Industry Expertise:
    Stay informed on DHS / Civilian priorities, budgets, modernization initiatives, cloud adoption trends, and competitive market dynamics.
Qualifications / Experience
  • 5+ years of technology sales management experience, preferably focused on cloud infrastructure, platform, or enterprise technology solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience working with U.S. federal government clients, preferably within DHS / Civilian or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing high‑performing sales teams in complex, regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to build and execute strategic sales plans while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong track record of driving team performance, talent development, and business growth within highly regulated markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of Federal procurement processes, contract vehicles (e.g., GSA schedules, IDIQs), and compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise technology solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Technology Cloud offerings preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required (e.g., Secret or Top Secret).
  • Strategic thinker, results‑driven, adaptable to changing priorities, and comfortable navigating complex organizational structures.
