Consulting Technical Manager. AI Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated AI Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing cloud-based data pipelines and AI data platforms that support our enterprise-scale initiatives in an Intelligence Community customer space. This role demands technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands‑on experience with Oracle-based systems in high‑volume environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or database management and building enterprise‑scale mission systems, preferably within the federal sector
• Experience with managing geospatial intelligence data (vectors and rasters)
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as Oracle, AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong experience with architecting and implementing Oracle Databases
• AI‑enabling data using Vector data type, RAG, and MCP
• Strong knowledge of ETL pipeline design (including data transformations) and implementation for large‑scale data systems
• Containers/Kubernetes
• Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or other automation tools
• Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage practices
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams including data scientists, DBAs, and business analysts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting and presenting solutions

• Designing multi‑modal databases that integrate multiple data types, including:
  • Relational
  • Spatial
  • JSON
  • Graph
• Knowledge of data security best practices and regulatory compliance
• Experience with Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines in a data engineering context
• Creating and deploying RESTful APIs;
  Oracle API Gateway
• Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Database Certified Professional or OCI Architect Professional) are a plus
• Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC)‑related agencies
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and innovative thinking skills

Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 – $209,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
