Our client focuses on building, automating, updating, and delivering better IT solutions for the Federal Government agencies. They are seeking a Network Engineer with virtualization experience.
This role is responsible for the design and implementation of a secure network currently on-prem to a hybrid version on AWS. You will troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues. If you are proactive and like to stay current with network industry trends and emerging technologies you will thrive here.
Ideal Network Engineers will have:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Experience working with hybrid networks.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
- Strong knowledge of commercial cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Skilled with networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, VPCs and firewalls—both on-prem and virtual.
- Confident in troubleshooting and problem solving.
An active TS/SCI + FS Poly level government clearance is required. Work is 100% on-site in Reston, VA. Salary is up to $200K for highly qualified candidates.
