TS SCI W/ CI Poly Cleared Sr Devops Engineer

Our client, a leader in the HCM space, is seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer for a long-term contract with a strong likelihood of extension. This individual will work a hybrid schedule out of Reston, VA and will be responsible for deploying, securing, and maintaining the core developer infrastructure that supports federal cloud environments. The Senior Dev Ops Engineer will partner with cloud engineering and security teams to automate infrastructure deployments, manage enterprise development tool chains, and ensure all environments meet federal security and compliance standards.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering
• Strong experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management, automation, and Linux administration
• Experience supporting AWS cloud environments, including IAM, networking, encryption, and storage services
• Experience deploying and administering Kubernetes environments and containerized applications
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git Lab CI or Jenkins
• Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL, Amazon Linux, or similar)
• Experience implementing STIGs, CIS Benchmarks, FIPS, or other federal security standards
• Experience supporting enterprise developer tools such as Git-based source control, artifact repositories, or vulnerability scanning platforms
• Strong scripting experience using Python
• Managing Git Hub Enterprise
• Running J-Frog Reificatory Server/X ray
• TS SCI w/ CI Poly clearance and US Citizenship required

Nice to Haves:

• Experience supporting Government Cloud, DoD, or Intelligence Community environments
• Experience working in air-gapped or highly secure cloud environments
• Experience with NGINX or other reverse proxy technologies
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Familiarity with Helm, container orchestration, and Kubernetes security best practices
• Experience implementing secure software supply chain or vulnerability remediation workflows
• Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, or similar
