The position involves developing automation frameworks, managing Linux environments, using Ansible and Infrastructure as Code tools, ensuring security compliance, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop automation frameworks and establish best practices
- Manage Linux-based environments such as RHEL
- Use Ansible for configuration management and enforcing system state
- Ensure security compliance and vulnerability management
- Collaborate with mission partners and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities
- 10+ years of experience administering Linux environments such as RHEL
- Experience managing configuration at scale with Ansible
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Puppet, or Chef
- Experience with Bash, Python, or Power Shell
- Experience managing systems within U.S. federal government or DoD enterprise IT environments, including security frameworks like STIG, RMF, or NIST
- Associate’s degree and 5+ years of supporting IT projects, Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years, or Master’s degree and 1+ years
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification within 30 days
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification within 30 days
- Experience with VMware vSphere and managing virtual machines
- Experience with Kubernetes, container platform operations, and workload orchestration
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Net App storage solutions and enterprise backup and recovery
- Knowledge of version control concepts and Git
