SummaryAgile Defense is seeking an experienced Enterprise Asset Manager to oversee strategic and operational responsibilities of USG customer organizational assets, with emphasis on cybersecurity assets.
Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesExpert-level knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles, best practices, and methodologies (e.g., ITIL, ISO 19770), deep understanding of hardware, software, and cloud asset life cycles. Proficiency in asset discovery tools and techniques for various environments (network, endpoint, cloud) is essential, as is a strong understanding of software licensing models, compliance, and optimization strategies. Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST RMF, CSF) is critical, with familiarity with secure configuration baselines and configuration management best practices.
Ability to integrate asset data into security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response processes. Extensive experience with leading ITAM/EAM platforms and CMDB solutions (e.g., Service Now, Flexera, Ivanti, BMC). Familiarity with automation and scripting for asset data collection and reconciliation. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau), developing and tracking KPIs and metrics, strong analytical skills.

- ITIL Foundation or higher (e.g., ITIL v4 Managing Professional)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or related field.
Required Skills5-7 years of progressive professional experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) roles, with at least 3-5 years in a lead or managerial capacity overseeing asset management programs within a large, complex enterprise environment.
Preferred SkillsExperience with IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for hybrid environments whose assets include mobile devices, Multi-Cloud environments, on-premise, data centers or IoT environment.
Working ConditionsHybrid role in Reston, VA.
Salary$140,000 - $160,000 a year.
