About the roleAt ICF Next Government, we collaborate with federal clients to enhance digital services using a human-centered design approach. We are looking for a UX Designer to aid in the design and development of federal websites and digital products within cross-functional teams. This position is ideal for a UX expert who can assist in delivering UX/UI solutions in Agile, Dev Sec Ops environments and facilitate the transition of outdated systems into modern, scalable platforms.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design user experiences for federal digital services.
- Contribute to the evolution of digital products by applying user-centered design principles.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and Dev Sec Ops practices to ensure timely delivery of design solutions.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that meet user needs and project requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX design or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile and Dev Sec Ops methodologies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or TS clearance.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with federal government projects or clients.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- UX design principles and methodologies
- User research and usability testing techniques
- Prototyping and wire framing tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch)
- Agile project management practices
- Dev Sec Ops principles
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret or TS clearance. This role may require occasional travel.
